About me

Hello! My name is Wes and I'm a software developer with a background in full stack and web development, as well as teaching and organizing. I have over a decade of experience writing software professionally and personally, as well as plenty of open source involvement. In my free time, I enjoy building electronics projects, especially involving microcontrollers such as the ESP8266/ESP32, and audio circuitry.

I'm available for freelance or full-time work if the opportunity is right. My specialty is backend development in Python or JS, but I am fluent in many other languages, including functional programming such as Haskell or Racket, and willing to learn new ones if the opportunity strikes. Many of my open source projects are written in Nim, which I find to be a flexible tool for any type of development.

You can find my resume and email here.
